Fanatics, Inc. is an American online retailer of licensed sportswear, sports equipment, and merchandise. It was formed in 1995 and is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. Fanatics offers product via its Fanatics and FansEdge brands, as well as sports collectibles and memorabilia through Fanatics Authentic and SportsMemorabilia.com.

John mentioned, "Dealing with Fanatics has been a nightmare. Received a jersey as a Christmas present. Was given instructions by there customer service department on how to return for credit. Returned the jersey for a larger size via us mail. Was told that it would take up to 10 business days for me to receive an email with a credit attached. It has been over 2 weeks and no credit! Have called their customer service hotline and spoken to a manager on 4 different occasions. Today I was told that the credit was applied to the credit card used to purchase the jersey back in November. I'm quite sure that there are other retailers that care more about their customers and follow through on their promises. Buyer Beware!!!"

"Seasonal workers were seen as disposable. They claimed there was long-term opportunity for outstanding seasonal workers but almost every single seasonal worker was let go. The interviews and training took place within the main building, which was clean and modern-looking, but they had seasonal workers stationed in cubicles in the emptied warehouse in the back. Parking was several blocks away from the building so they had a school bus shuttle seasonal workers to and from the parking lot."

"Holy sh!t! If you buy anything from this company they will NEVER stop emailing you...EVER. I had unchecked "Send me emails" before completing my order, yet almost immediately I start receiving BS offer emails from FansEdge, upwards of 3-4 a day, every single day. I have "unsubscribed" countless times since then yet I still receive the emails. Actual predatory behavior, they will do what they want regardless of what the customer desires. This is not a matter of me misunderstanding either. I work in IT and keep my inbox very clean. I rarely, rarely have these issues with legitimate companies. Steer FAR FAR away from this sketchy company."

"I appreciate all of your efforts to make my customer service experience more pleasant! Bought a number of shirts, all arrived with serious defects, nothing like were advertised and the quality very poor. They shipped me a cheaper dress compared to what they had on photographs in order description ordered the dress for my daughter, took over a month to be delivered, it is nothing like they advertise Awful terrible quality, holes on the clothes One dress that was supposed to have a detailed picture with two colours came blurry, and apparently they only have the capabilities to print with one colour. The best part was a dress that was supposed to say "Choice not Chance" says instead "Loice not Chance", that one is a keeper their service email is not working. This was dealt with positively and speedily. I am very pleased with the help Very helpful and happy with this service had with an order. Great customer service from start to finish. Thank you."

"Is this place a fraud/scam site? It says it cancelled my order - after I have been waiting for weeks. Why? Doesnโ€™t make sense. No customer service. Something is shady."

"Customer Service does not exist and it is designed that way. Out of the 3 ways they give you for customer service the only one that works is contact thru Twitter. There is no number to call so there is no human being to talk . Iโ€™ve been waiting 4 days for someone to contact me to answer a simple question. Updates on shipping donโ€™t exist but is blamed on FEDEX even though FEDEX site says shipping label has been created and waiting for product. Hereโ€™s my reference number from the question I asked in case anyone from Fansedge actually reads these reviews. The reference number for your inquiry is # 201214-002233."

"I ordered Florida Gators slippers for a Christmas gift. In my haste of ordering didnt realize the slippers were for kids until order arrived. I immediately went in to process a refund and was given 2 options either no refund at all or a small portion of a refund. My issue is I paid $30 including tax and shipping and was only given $8.46 back as the refund. What a RIP off I understand there was a fee to ship back but it was less than $10. Wow, Merry Christmas to you as well."

"Avoid using any company associated with Fanatics. Which includes Fansedge. I've had issue after issue with their companies and their customer service is almost nonexistent. In the most recent case, I ordered a product through Fansedge. I revived a shipment from Highland Mint and it appears it was actually an order for someone in another state for a completely different company. Called Fansedge and they couldn't for out what hairbrush and wanted us to return the product we got to get a refund. We refused as the product didn't belong to them and we asked them to cancel our order and the replacement order they did without our consent. 3 days later, no updates so I call again. A claim number was created and we received an email that we would receive resulting in 72 hours. Lo and behold the claims team emails back and says they cannot cancel the order which won't ship until January. Funny thing is we placed an order directly with Highland Mint and they got the product to us in 2 days, no issues or stock problems. I call Fansedge yet again for the 3rd time and I'm actually told I should cut my losses. What kind of answer is that? At this point we initiated a chargeback with our credit card company. We will never order from this company or any of its associated organizations ever again and if you want to avoid a major headache it's highly recommended you don't order from them either. If I could give negative stars I would. Buyer beware!"

"I ordred a jersey 9.12.20, but it keeps getting pushed back due to covid. Anyone can understand that. I reach out to them to express concerns about the product i ordered being delivered for my daughters Birthday November 5th (almost 2 months later) and I get a response saying "guaranteed ship by date Oct 28th". One week before my daughters birthday i get another email saying the package has been delayed again. At this point I realize it wont make it for her birthday but thats ok Christmas is right around the corner. I check back, today 12.2.20 and provide my email and order number so they can provide an update regarding my purchase. They locate my order showing it as cancelled. THANKS FOR NOTHING."

"BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Fans Edge is a prime example of using โ€œbait and switchโ€ sales tactics. They state 365 day return policy so buyer thinks he has that return timeframe. Items are purchased from Fans Edge with this thought in mind and then try return a few items after 30 days because you think you have 365 days and then are informed that the โ€œOriginal Manufacturerโ€ has a 30 day return policy so you are unable to return your items. Do not buy from this company unless you expect to return ANY of your items within 30 days. The 365 day return policy is a lie and technically they should be prosecuted for false advertising. Stay away from this company...their customer satisfaction rating is very low. Wish I would have read this beforehand. My response: And how are buyers to know exactly what items are Manufacturer Direct items ???? You should remove your 365 day return advertisement since more than half of my items ordered on my very large and pricey order were it appears Manufacturer Direct shipped items! This would solve your return issues."

"Just ordered tshirt with free shipping. As I pressed complete purchase, I noticed it was switched to 2 day $10 shipping. Can't get a response from anyone to have it corrected or cancel , UPDATE: All good. The shipping has been corrected. The echat function appeared to not be working, as I was told to wait for someone to help, but they must have been working behind the scenes and took care of everything without me knowing what was going on."

"The item I ordered stated that if I used the promo code that I would get it at that price. Not true if the item is โ€œlow stockโ€. Contacted customer service and all I got was I apologize and sorry for the inconvenience. Then I got an email stating the they canceled the order I requested and was processing the credit to my card. I never canceled the order. Poor business."

"This will be my first review ever! I placed an order on September 1st for two items. One came very quickly while the other I have still have yet to receive. It said it would arrive before Sept 20th. I waited about a month before calling customer service (hold time was ridiculous). The lady informed me it was a pre-order item and it would not ship till Oct 23rd. Fine at least someone gave me an answer. However, here we are a month later and still no jersey. This was suppose to be a birthday present two months ago! I looked at my bank account today and they refunded the jersey a week ago without any word. Terrible! never using this site again!"

"Okay except I had 3-7 days shipping, ordered on December 3, 2020 and the promise date went from the 16th, to the 21st, to the 31st. It is now the 25th and the revised promised shipping date was the 21st. They suck at shipping and do not keep the so call 'promise delivery date' or 'promise shipping date.' Update: It was December 29th i believe and they told me the package was lost, but i ordered on nflshop.com and got it."

"swiftly responded to my query, clarifying a misunderstanding on my part and handling it with professionalism and friendliness Managed to get a refund I ordered a dress for my daughter. It took a long time to arrive, but it did and was lovely quality and in good condition. I waited almost a month to receive the new dress hat they have advertised on the website Received the dress and it did not fit. I ordered three dresses and they came in, the quality was great but they were too large. I needed one size smaller and I wanted to make an exchange. lovely quality and in good condition The problems started when I tried to return it i went on google I tried to contact customer service. I was searching for the number and I found this number plus one --three one two 4 eight eight one zero nine six I called the number when my line was connected they helped me some with instructions so that can return the cheap dress back to the company got my dollar back helped sort out an issue with my refund and provided clarification re-application of a promo code. His communication was prompt and clear. Thank you!"

"They offer $10.99 off ..on line...if you placed your order right now. However, they do not actually give that dollar amount off. There was a coupon that took off $6.00โ€™s. And customer service does not have the same screen to look at as does the customer.... So after much back and forth, customer service offered to give me $4.00โ€™s off.....to make it a total of $10.00โ€™s ...which included the coupon. So thereโ€™s no $10.99 off. I do not recommend purchasing from this company."

"This site had a deal for free shipping, which was applied to my order while the jersey was in my cart. Literally said, "[Free shipping] code has been applied to your order." Only after I clicked to pay via Apple Pay did they total my order, which included $11 โ€œexpeditedโ€ shipping and a $1 handling fee. The jersey was only $28.59 to begin with (note: free shipping was for orders $29 or above). I tried using their chat to immediately cancel, but they were unresponsive. UPDATE: Tried the chat again and finally got someone. I asked to cancel my order and they said they would process the cancellation. Shipping charges were still masked in a shady way, but Iโ€™m updating my rating to 2 stars since they didnโ€™t completely whiff on the customer service side of things. Will report back and update my rating accordingly if the refund is processed as promised. Update 2: They have refunded my money, as promised, within 2-5 days. I have update the rating to 3 stars. Not completely shady, but definitely watch out for hidden charges and deceptive shipping practices."
